FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: asynchronous adjustable electric motor has armature, first and second additional magnetic circuits with nonmagnetic insert between them. Rotor has main magnetic core, winding, first and second additional magnetic cores put of shaft. additional winding is connected to main one. Two ferromagnetic hollow cylinders supported in bearings are installed in additional magnetic circuit. Second hollow cylinder is divided with nonmagnetic ring. Inner surfaces of specified magnetic circuits have slots filled with high conductance rods with butt rings fitted with sliding contacts with face and internal discs. Unipolar excitation winding is positioned between discs. Ferromagnetic cylinders are divided between rods into equal parts by means of nonmagnetic inserts. Discs of first cylinder are electrically coupled to discs of second cylinder. Second unipolar excitation winding is mounted on additional magnetic circuit.
