FIELD: packing of piece goods. SUBSTANCE: method comprises cutting a piece of strapping tape 1 from roll and making a strapping for which purpose the ends of the piece of tape 1 are connected to form a ring, leaving parts of said ends partly free. Then the ring is twisted, forming simultaneously two binding loops 5 and 6. Now the load - box 7 - is placed on the strapping so that two opposite corners of the box 7 fit into the loops 5 and 6 and the strapping is closed by connecting the loops and tying them to each other with free ends 3 and 4.
