FIELD: anticorrosive insulating coatings. SUBSTANCE: method involves pipeline opening, cleansing of ground soil and application of bitumen-base composition on the pipeline surface by pouring. Composition is applied directly on the old damaged insulating coating. Composition for insulating coating has, wt.-%: bitumen 55-63; resin after petroleum products pyrolysis 33.1-40.2; vat residue in production of α-methylstyrene 2.1-2.6; polyalkylbenzene resin 1.6-1.9, and waste in ethanol production 0.2-0.3. EFFECT: enhanced quality of composition. 3 cl, 4 tbl
