FIELD: insulation materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and repair of metal pipelines, for instance underground pipelines, exposed to simultaneous action of dynamic and static loadings, corrosive media, negative temperatures, and microorganisms. Composition of invention is based on modified solid mineral pyrolysis tar containing amino, epoxy, hydroxy, carbonyl, and carboxyl groups. Pyrolysis tar is modified by adding hexamethylenetetramine and/or reused liquid mineral products, in particular oil slime. According to invention, surface of metal pipe is first covered with even layer of liquid composition. After homopolymerization-mediated hardening thereof until at least aftertack state is attained, second even layer is applied. Metal pipe has outside coating consisting of at least two layers, each based on composition of invention, of which internal layer contacting with metal has isotropic structure, whereas outside layer is anisotropic. EFFECT: inc lifetime of coated pipes. 15 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
