FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: nonvirulent strain of reverse lysine-independent mutant of plague microbe Yersinia pestis A-1435-30 KM-949 is used as a producer of fraction I. Strain shows increased production of fraction I. Mutant is detected in reverse lysine-independent mutant of plague microbe A-1435-30 lys- which had auxotrophy by lysine. Nonvirulency of strain is explained by state pgm- in population. EFFECT: detection of plague strain indicated above.
