FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: the foamed PVC material is prepared form a composition consisting of 100 weight parts of a suspension from a composition consisting of 100 weight parts of a suspension or weight polyvinyl chloride and 0.5-5 weight parts of sodium alkyl monosulfonate by molding at a pressure of 0.5-400 MPa at 20 to 170 C till a density of 0,72-1,28 g/cm3, is achieved, heating up to 140-150 C in the closed volume and subsequently heating in the free state at 190-300 C for 3-15 minutes. The material gas improved higher strength and thermal stability. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition. 3 cl, 1 tbl
