POROUS MATERIAL AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2032698 C1

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: the porous material consists of an emulsion or microsuspension PVC and has a porous cellular structure, a cross linking degree of 5-98% , an apparent density of 0,15-1,20 g/cm3, an open porosity of 0.5-75% and a mean diameter of open pores of 1-90 mcm. The process comprises preparing a porous material by molding powdery PVC at a pressure of 0.5-400 MPa and a temperature of 20-170 C till a density of 0,85-1,3 g/cm3 is achieved and subsequently heating at 190-300 C for 3- 15 min. EFFECT: improved properties of the porous material. 3 cl, 1 tbl
