FIELD: manufacture of finish tiles, furniture and furniture auxiliaries, and leather haberdashery. SUBSTANCE: polyvinylchloride foamed material produced from microsuspension or emulsion polyvinylchloride is treated with water heated up to 90-120 C or aqueous solution of ammonia, or steam, or gaseous ammonia at 20-100 C. Treated material is subjected to molding with use of nonuniformly heated punches. The second version of the method employs suspension or microsuspension polyvinylchloride preliminarily mixed with sodium alkylmonosulfonate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 2 tbl
