FIELD: producing detergents. SUBSTANCE: paraffin fraction which is isolated in stationary layer of zeolite is separated into fractions. Said fractions have initial boiling points (190-200 C), (190-200 C)-(225-260 C) and final boiling point (225-260 C). Then the second and third of mentioned above fractions or mixture of the first and the second fractions are purified separately. The process is carried out with the help of oleum. Thus treated mixture is separated into hydrocarbon phase and acid asphalt by settling. Hydrocarbon phase is treated by aqueous solution of alkali and then is separated.
