FIELD: electrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming the roll body followed by machining on a lathe and grinding. Novelty resides in that the roll body is produced by electroslag melting into wide mold and drawing out the ingot of consumable electrode which is constituted by used roll. Simultaneously, the mold is treated with small-fraction lathe machining and grinding waste. The waste is mixed with crushed master alloy containing nickel, cobalt, aluminium and silicon.
