FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic converter of spatial movements has case 1 anchored on one object and trihedral bearing angle piece 10 attached to other object of test. Case of current conducting nonmagnetic material has through grooves fabricated in its neighboring mutually orthogonal faces which house three identical sensitive elements 2. Each of them is manufactured in the form of measuring inductance coil 4 wound on flat magnetic core 3 and two identical multilayer flat figure-eight-shaped coils 5 and 6 in symmetry to center, placed on both sides of magnetic core. Neighboring layers of flat figure-eight-shaped coils are connected in series aiding, directions of spirals of adjacent layers are opposite. Layer are so placed that turns of one layer are located above intervals between turns of other. Free ends of extreme figure-eight-shaped coils are interconnected through controlled key. Converter can operate under two modes: measurement of relative movement of objects of test and testing of its sensitive elements. Under each of modes one figure-eight-shaped coil is closed and the other one is open. Signal of testing mode depends on properties of elements 2 and signal of working mode - not only on properties of elements 2 but on distances between objects of testing. Difference signal of both modes is invariable to properties of elements 2.
