FIELD: analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: for realization of method equal illumination of sample of fabric having first creased section and second uncreased section is provided as well as generation of digital image of surface of illuminated sample. This image than is studied with the aid of analyzer which can compare degree of dullness of two sections of fabric by means of comparison program. Difference between value of degree of dullness of first section and value of degree of dullness of second section is assumed as index of creasing of first section. EFFECT: reduced time and improved authenticity of determination of degree of creasing of nap of fabrics. 3 cl, 2 dwg
