FIELD: medicine and biopharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves adding gelatine calcined in advance at 90-120 C into the solution of furacin and dissolving it by heating to 85-90 C then cooling it to 25-30 C and introducing it into a mixture of calcium chloride and formaldehyde. The resulting solution is whipped into stable foam to a volume 2.5 - 3 times larger than the initial volume and, stirring it continuously, introducing a solution of antibiotic, e.g. gentamicine sulfate or kanamycin sulfate. Then the produced foam is poured into a tray and frozen at minus 56-60 C. Then it is lyophilized, cut into portions, packed and sterilized by radiation under an integral radiation dose of 2.5 mrad. EFFECT: higher quality of product.
