FIELD: medical industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing with liquid medium supply and discharge branch pipes, membrane module, composed of a set of flat semi-permeable membranes and separating-drainage gaskets disposed between membranes. Apparatus is further provided with devices for hermetically sealing chambers for exchange media or chambers for medium to be separated and permeate and members for sealing module in casing. Gaskets and sealing devices are made in the form of strips made from thermoplast-containing material and disposed laterally of medium flow direction in the chamber. Strips are non-removably connected with membranes at contact areas so that two groups of alternating slit-type chambers for exchange or separatable media are formed, with chambers being open in medium supply and discharge direction. Besides, supporting members in the form of columns connected in sealing relation with sealing members are defined along side ribs of membrane module with respect to medium supply and discharge direction. Sealing members are formed as beads disposed on casing internal surface. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 14 dwg
