FIELD: casting equipment. SUBSTANCE: method of making shell molds with use of investment patterns, comprises steps of layer-by-layer applying a suspension on a pattern, sprinkling each layer by a granular material, drying and strengthening each layer. All above mentioned steps are being performed with use of an outer excess pressure no more, than 1.5 MPa. The step of drying and strengthening of the last layer may be performed simultaneously with melting out of the pattern at temperature, being by 10-15 C higher, than a temperature of pattern melting.
