SUBSTANCE: apparatus for bottom pouring of steel has fixed bottom gate pipes, being solid, having uniform thickness of walls, laid in a duct of s stool on a layer of a refractory loose material and covered by a layer of that material. On that layer along the whole strength of the bottom gate pipe solid metallic plates are arranged. The metallic plates are in the form of half-cylinders, supporting an upper layer of the refractory material.
