FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a stool, in which a centering pin is rigidly mounted. A bottom guide with a central spider and a terminal nozzle is arranged in a duct of the stool. An ingot mold with a bottom opening, having a shape, reciprocal to the centering pin, is mounted on the stool and on the centering pin. The apparatus also has a runner with a duct for metal flowing, arranged under the central spider. The centering pin has a cavity for embedding the terminal nozzle and a closing insert for extending an upper part of the pin and for free removal of the worn terminal nozzle. An outer surface of a portion of the pin, being protruded over the stool, is in the form of a truncated cone with a cylindrical land upstairs. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of centering an ingot mold relative to a runner duct and prevention of displacement of the ingot mold upon transportation of steel casting cars. 2 cl, 3 dwg
