FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves drying of wood or other plant material ground to particle size not exceeding 2·10-3m to moisture content of 9-11%; heating to 200-220 C by heating molds to 200-220 C and material to 120 C; charging into molds and holding for 1-1.5 min.; effectuating cooling of molds without depressurization; reducing pressure for at least 3 min. and withdrawing obtained compressed product from mold, with pressure relief rate being equal to pressure increase rate in the process of compression.
