FIELD: water- repellent treatment of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: first, dry water repellent is prepared by three-stage technology including drying of initial components, then joint grinding and additional heat treatment are performed; drying is effected at temperature of 80 to 300 C; fine grinding is effected at temperature of 30 to 60 C to 4500 to 6000 sq.cm/g; additional heat treatment is effected at temperature of 45 to 60 C. Water repellent of loose material is conducted in drum-type gravitational mixer with drum revolving at speed of 10 to 25 r/min for 0.25 - 0.5 h at 60 to 80 C.
