CAR LIFT Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: car maintenance. SUBSTANCE: lift has frame 1 furnished with wheels. Frame can be moved manually on floor. Fitted on frame are two levers which can be turned about horizontal axis. Installed for turning on ends of levers is horizontal rod with four telescopic turnable supports. The latter are to be driven under standard places on car chassis intended for lifting the car. Special drives are installed on frame to turn levers and rod. Drives of mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic or electrohydraulic types can be used. Spring mechanisms are hinge-mounted between frame and levers to reduce efforts required for turning the levers. Spring mechanisms equalize considerable part of car weight. Lift in transportation position can be easily moved between front or rear wheels under car. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
