FIELD: production of weak nitric acid. SUBSTANCE: weak nitric acid is produced by combination method by producing gaseous ammonia through evaporation of liquid ammonia, throttling part of ammonia thus obtained which is delivered for catalytic oxidation to constant pressure followed by its catalytic oxidation in catalytic reactor at pressure of 0.35 MPa forming the product nitric acid and tail gases containing admixtures of nitrous gases directed for catalytic cleaning in presence of ammonia fed from stage of producing gaseous ammonia.
