FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: treatment of organic and aqueous phases is carried out by direct current. Anode and cathode space were divided by anion-exchange diaphragm. Metal-containing organic extracts were fed continuously at the rate 3.0-3.8 g/A x h for Ta2O5 or 1.8-2.3 g/A x h for Nb2O5 in cathode space at diaphragm current density 100-1000 A/m2. Water can be used as parent anolyte solution. Method is used in technology of liquid extraction of niobium and tantalum. EFFECT: improved method of metal reextraction. 2 cl, 1 tbl
