FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: articles made of iron-carbon alloys were subjected for copper plating by chemical deposition from copper sulfate solution and diffusive metallization firstly at 1050-1100 C for 10-15 min, and then - at 800-900 C for 2-4 h in powder mixture of the following composition, wt.-%: copper difluoride 5-15; lead difluoride 5-15, and titanium powder - the rest.
