FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: system for feeding steam to the cylinder is constructed as nozzle 3 coupled with inlet manifold 1. The system is connected to reservoir 8 for supplying water through a heat exchanger made up as evaporating chamber 5 mounted at the outlet manifold 6. The inlet of evaporating chamber 5 is provided with nozzle 9 and thermo-sensitive valve 10. The heat exchanger is constructed so that to provided full evaporating of water supplied and heating steam up to 120-130°C. The nozzle provides water flow rate equal to 1.1-1.2 of fuel mass per second. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
