FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The hydrogen fog generation system is designed for an internal combustion engine (9) with spark ignition or for an engine with compression ignition. The system provides mixing of water fog and hydrogen with subsequent supply to the cylinders through the intake manifold (8). Water is sprayed using ultrasound. Hydrogen is produced using an electrolyzer (5) in separate tanks. Water is sprayed in an open-type hydro tank (1) for distilled water with a liquid level indicator (3) and an ultrasonic evaporator (4), by vibrating the membrane at a frequency of 1.7 MHz with a magnetostriction device and a frequency generator. The electrolyzer (5) is equipped with a closed-type hydro tank (6) for the electrolyte in the form of a solution of potassium hydroxide KOH.
EFFECT: afterburning of a larger amount of fuel mixture in the engine cylinders.
