FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: evaporator is assembled of individual vertical members with tubes 2 mounted concentrically forming circular chamber 3 in each tube; tubes are connected by means of equalizing tubes 4; cooling agent supply pipe line 5 is mounted in lateral surface of vertical member 1; discharge manifold 6 is mounted in upper portion of vertical members 1; lower portion of tubes 2 is rigidly mounted in horizontal pipe 7 which is provided with drain branch pipe 8. EFFECT: enhanced internal heat exchange and avoidance of penetration of liquid cooling agent with throttled vapor into discharge manifold. 2 dwg
