FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: rotor of centrifugal separator has a foundation, a cover connected with it forming a separation chamber, an insertion holder disposed in the chamber and a separating insertion formed by a solid band curved as spiral. The band is made of multilayer composite polymeric material and has a shape of trapezium in the unfolded state. Its smaller base is fastened to the rotor foundation, its greater base is fixed to its cover. The band is located along the insertion height so that the distance between its turns increases towards the rotor axle.
