FIELD: equipment for separation of liquids; applicable in chemical, food and other industries. SUBSTANCE: rotor has base mounted on hollow shaft and spherical cover connected with it to form separation chamber accommodating insert holder with separating insert. Rotor base is spherical. Insert holder consists of two spherical parts installed in separation chamber in a spaced relation to cover and base. Rotor design allows fuller separation of suspensions with corrosive and toxic sediments due to presence of large settling area of separating insert. Spherical shape of rotor facilitates rise in rotor rotation speed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
