FIELD: working stands of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: device comprises two-arm levers 6 articulated on stand housing 1, each lever being kinematically linked by one arm via fork 8 with wing 11 of carriage 3 while its other arm is connected to hydraulic cylinder 7. Novelty resides in that fork 8 of lever 6 is rigid and the lever can turn in the direction of roll change until the fork prong which is external with relation to the stand moves beyond the trajectory of work roll change.
