FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: rolling stand of mill has frames, supporting chocks with backup rolls and working rolls, and spacing wedges, mounted movably in the chocks of the working rolls at both sides of their vertical axis. Balancing hydraulic cylinders, controlling relative angular position of rolls, are mounted in the wedges. Facing strips are placed with possibility of displacement on the vertical surfaces of the wedges. The strips are joined with the wedges along spherical surfaces, whose center is arranged on an axis of the stand. EFFECT: enlarged using range of the stand. 1 cl, 3 dwg
