FIELD: control of angular motion of space vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring the vector of angular momentum of flywheel system at the moment of beginning of turn, determination of available magnitudes of vector of angular momentum of flywheel system, measurement of vector of absolute angular velocity of space vehicle at the moment of beginning of turn, determination of vector of angular momentum of space vehicle hull, determination of duration of turn of space vehicle in direction of angle of final turn and in opposite direction, selection of direction of turn at which time of turn of space vehicle about vector of final turn is minimum and determination of magnitude of required rate of turn in selected direction.
