FIELD: conservation of velvet antlers of northern deer. SUBSTANCE: velvet antlers ate stepped treated by hot air. The first step takes place within 4 h at 70-72 C, preliminary heating to 68-70 C being carried out. Then wind drying within 48 h takes place. Said cycle is repeated 2-3 times. The second step takes place within 4 h at 65-68 C, stream of hot air being used; velvet antlers are preliminary heated to 65 C. Then wind drying within 48-72 h is carried out. The third step is carried out within 4-10 days with the help of draft till tops of velvet antlers become hard. EFFECT: decreases drying time, improves quality of velvet antlers. 1 tbl
