BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE PREPARATION FOR SHEEP Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: veterinary. SUBSTANCE: preparation has, wt.-%: proteins 5-55; amino acids 1.6-5; fatty acids 0.1-15; sugars 3-30; ascorbic acid 0.6-10; water 1-5, and salts - the rest. Preparation is prepared by cultivation of virus- and/or nonvirus-induced lymphoid cells of sheep following by filtration. Then one part of filtrate is lyophilized, dissolved in buffer solution and added (1:10) to the aerosol OT solution, then fatty acids (10-1000 mcg) and sugars (3-20 mg) were added and mixed with 1-5-fold acetone solution. Prepared precipitate is dissolved in saline solution, mixed with the second part of filtrate and lyophilized. Preparation with activity 10 000 U is administrated 2-3-fold by intranasal or parenteral route at the dose 2-4 ml for prophylaxis, and with activity 1 000 000 U is administrated 3-4-fold at the dose 4 ml, once per a day for treatment.
