FIELD: concentrating solutions. SUBSTANCE: concentrator has horizontal housing provided with the systems for supplying initial liquid and working fluid, discharging the working fluid, concentrated solution, and the secondary vapor, and heater. The concentrator is provided with driving drums positioned inside the housing at its opposite ends and flexible hoses mounted inside the housing to define central and two periphery spaces and to permit synchronous reciprocation toward each other. One end of the hoses is bent out and tightly secured to the internal wall of the housing over periphery. The other end is wound on the drums. Each of the systems for supplying and discharging the working fluid is in communication with the periphery spaces. The systems for supplying the initial liquid and discharging concentrated solution and secondary vapor are in communication with the central space. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
