FIELD: working of wood. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing wood material having moisture content within the range of 22-24% to microwave field with cycle number at least equal to three; providing exposure to microwave in each cycle for 2 - 5 min. within the frequency range of 1-10 GHz and radiation power of 0.0005 - 0.015 Wt/cm3, with time interval between each exposure being equal to 5-15 min. EFFECT: reduced drying time, efficiency driving of resin from conifer trees and improved resonance characteristics of wood.
