FIELD: wood processing. SUBSTANCE: electric current is passed through the cutting part of the tool which is heated up to a certain desired temperature. The wood destruction without sawdust is exercised by implanting this part into the wood. The device has a unit regulating the temperature with at least one temperature- sensitive element contacting with the cutting part which is made rounded and overhangs the supporting part. The tool can be sectional. Each section is warmed up separately. EFFECT: enhanced quality of wood processing. 7 cl, 7 dwg
