FIELD: electrified railways; connection of contact wire to carrier cable. SUBSTANCE: damped dropper contact system has taut carrier cable to which ends of spring wire are hinge-connected by clamps symmetrically relative to pole. Spring wire is made sectional, with shorter middle part provided with coaxial loops on ends. End parts are made of links normalized according to resilience, with noncoaxial loops with thimbles, and they are secured on carrier cable through clamps with tilting. Shortened and normalized-length shock absorbing droppers are installed in place of attachment of fixing clamp of lock on contact wire at both sides from wire. Droppers consist of articulated links with noncoaxial loops, first of which are connected through thimbles and suspension jokes to middle part of spring wire and second one, to carrier cable and to clamps installed on contact wire through lower loops. Middle dropper is connected to fixing clamp of lock by means of connecting member, for instance, plate installed for taking up mass of lock members and preset balancing of resilient of contact wire suspension in supporting and adjacent zones by means of elastic force. EFFECT: improved quality of contact system. 2 dwg
