FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: joint assembly of rods includes a connecting member with lugs for securing inserts, having in their end portions an end of a respective rod, secured to it. The assembly is provided by a slit ring; the connecting member is in the form of a truncated cone and covers, tightened by a central bolt. The slit ring, mounted on an outer lateral surface of the truncated cone, is in the form of sectors, arranged (one relative to another) with gaps. The above mentioned lugs are secured to the sectors.
