MECHANIZED TWO-LEAF GATES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: mechanized two-leaf gates have two posts with mounted leaves 1, turning mechanisms, electric drives 11, equalizing counterweights 2 secured on columns 3 installed for rotation on supports. Bracket 6 is mounted in lower part of each counterweight 2. Bracket is coupled by means of pin 7 with turning mechanism. The latter has lever 8, rod 9 and crank 10. Crank is secured on shaft of driven gear wheel of electric drive 11. Point of intersection of longitudinal axis of counterweight 2 and axis drawn square to longitudinal axis of counterweight through joint of lever 8 is located at equal distance from vertical support of column 3 and above-indicated joint, this distance being equal to length of crank.
