FIELD: buildings, garages construction, lifting-turning gates are used for opening and closing of apertures of buildings, structures and particularly - for individual motor cars garages erected in areas with high snow cover and lower air temperature outdoors in winter. SUBSTANCE: gate is made as sheet combined of two hinged to each other wings, upper one of which is fixed with rotary capability on axis located in upper part of gate aperture indoors; self-braking mechanism of lifting; chain transmission; device for lifting mechanism locking by owner; protective plates mounted on outer surface of wall at corners of gate aperture to increase protection of gates against burglary; gasket along whole contour of gate sheet bearing. Gate does not have frame and guides mounted on side walls of aperture to lead movement of lower wing. Lifting-turning gate has simplified design, allows to decrease material usage and energetic losses of building equipped with similar gates, to save useful volume of building and to increase protection of located in it things.
