FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: carburetor has housing 1, fuel nozzle 3 with passage 6 provided with conical inlet 7 and outlet 8 sections. The grate diameters of the sections face the inlet and outlet ports of passage 6. Needle 5 with entering conical surface 14 is mounted coaxially to passage 6 for permitting axial movement and to define gap 20. Screw grooves are provided on rod 10 of needle 5. The grooves abut on surface 14. Conical surface 14 of needle 5 and conical surface of section 7 has the same inclination. The angles of inclinations of conical surfaces 7 and 8 and surface 14 is in the range of 55-65 deg. When fuel is sucked in the carburetor chamber the fuel stream is swirled with grooves 18 and form thin film which is projected into the stream. In so doing, a fine dispersive fuel-air mixture is formed. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
