FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic stop has housing provided with a ring projection on the inner surface, rod, and step piston provided with the by-passing openings rigidly connected to the rod. One of the spaces is defined by the outer and inner surfaces of the rod and housing respectively and one of the faces of the housing and the step face of the piston of grater diameter. The other space is defined by the surface of the ring projection and the other solid face of the housing and face of the step of the piston of lesser diameter. The length of the step piston is grater than the length of the housing step of grater diameter, and the area of the cross-sections of the rod, step and piston of the grater and lesser diameter are defined by a relationship presented in the invention description.
