FIELD: mechanical engineering, study of materials. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to study physical properties of porous and elastic material under all-round dynamic compression. Device for dynamic volumetric compression of specimen has stepped body with neck filled with loading fluid in which capacity transformer oil can be used, piston positioned in neck and loading unit employed as source of kinetic energy. Body is surrounded by heater, crusher is put on end face of neck. Piston and neck have interacting ledge and annular groove correspondingly. Plastically deformed locator of position of piston is located in annular groove. Deformed spacer with collar having height bigger than required height h determined by calculation which enters groove in piston by excessive value to form labyrinth seal is placed on internal stage of body under piston.
