FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: belt is interposed between drums. One of the drums is mounted movably in the direction of belt tension. The belt is wound on the drums as two branches provided with two bent parts. One of the branches has one layer, and the other branch and each part of bent part have outer and inner layers. Each layer rotates in the longitudinal direction by 180 deg on the double-layer branch and they are fixed with respect to each other. Each free end of the belt is applied to the drum as the inner layer of the bent part, the free end being brought out on the one- layer branch. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
