FIELD: analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: method for control of liquid media is based on measurement of electrochemical potentials of medium by means of ion-selective tranbsducers located in it, and determination of solution pX or ion concentration by transducer readings with subsequent registration of results. Signal from each transducer is amplified by K1 times, and increments of amplified signal is determined in preset intervals of time and successively compared with first allowance; when increment value is equal to, or less than, first allowance, reading value is fixed, and it is subtracted from amplified signal. Obtained difference signal is amplified by K2> K1 times, m, readings are taken for varying time interval of preset duration, averaged and increment of averaged signals from interval to interval is determined. Obtained increments are successively compared with second allowance. When increment value is equal to, or less than, second allowance, actual value of difference signal amplified by K2 times is measured, and after division by coefficient K2 is added to fixed earlier reading of signal amplified by K1 times and summary signal is registered.
