FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: flowmeter has measurement section which includes one receiving 8 and three receive- transmit 2,3,6 piezoelectric transducers, three reflectors 4,5,7, microcontroller 24, three probing pulse formers 9,10,11, switch 12, amplifier-former 13, two pulse distributors 14, 16, controlled delay line 15, decoder 17, reference voltage source 18, adder 19, voltage-to-time triggered converter 20 with inverse relationship, time discriminator 23, and two digital-to-analog converter 21, 22. Measurement section has preset geometrical correlations between information and reference trajectories of ultrasound oscillation distribution. Different acoustic bases of reference signals and identical bases for information signals are used in two operating cycles of flowmeter with leading and lagging reference signals. Cycles consist of two steps: along and opposite to flow. Two reception signals (reference and information signals) are subject to processing in each step. Definite methods of processing the current codes in cycles provide for automatic elimination of errors during determination of time intervals of ultrasound oscillation distribution. EFFECT: higher measurement results. 3 dwg
