The latter are embedded in stack body through depth h or abut cylindrical surface of magnetic circuit and protrude above it through dnom.r.m.-h,, h being determined from equations h = (dnom.r.m./2)·(1-cosα) at α = (0-π/2) and α = arcsin[(Ps·Sl)/(0,59[δ]p·dnom.r.m.·L·nr.m)],, where dnom.r.m. is nominal diameter of reinforcing member sectional area, mm; α is half-angle of mating sector of reinforcing member and stack surfaces; Pc is applied compression pressure of stack, kg/sq. mm; Sl is surface area of magnetic circuit laminations, sq. mm; [δ]r is permissible stress of reinforcing member material, kg/sq.mm; nr.m. is number of reinforcing members bracing the stack; L is stack length, mm. Reinforcing member are welded to stack in solid phase with welding force of applied to them sufficient to embed reinforcing member into stack body through height h or to crumple it through same value, where [δu] is yield strength of reinforcing member material at welding temperature, kg/sq.mm.
