SUBSTANCE: electric water heater includes case and heat exchanger with inlet and at least one outlet branch pipes, transformer built-in in case with laminated core on which primary winding is installed in unimmersed zone insulated from it. It is connected to network. Secondary winding of transformer presents heat exchanger located in submerged zone and is manufactured in the form of tubular turn of current-carrying material. Its outlet branch pipe is arranged above inlet pipe. EFFECT: increased level of electric safety, higher reliability and reduced usage of metal.
