FIELD: separation of drop liquid from gas. SUBSTANCE: drop catcher includes cylindrical housing, which is provided with inlet and two outlet branch pipes for gas and liquid phase respectively, and conical vane swirler and spiral insert having different swirler angles and mounted coaxially inside the housing in series downstream of the inlet branch pipe. The depth of the groove smoothly increases from zero in the direction to the separation chamber. The outlet branch pipe for gas phase is fitted in the inner diameter of the housing.
