FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: briquetting mixture includes 30 to 50 percent by mass quartz sand, 45 to 60 percent by mass hydrolytic lignine and 5 to 10 percent by mass refinery coke. Process for briquetting mixture includes such steps as grinding of refinery coke to particle size of less than 3 mm, dehydrating lignine to moisture content of 12 to 15 %, admixing ingredients and then briquetting resultant mixture at pressure of 80 to 95 MPa.
